I 've been experimenting with online social libraries, a place to track,  rate, and write reviews for books I read.  I can also join or create groups (both public and private) to discuss books. Imagine the possibilities with our students: talk about informing choice and giving them an avenue to discuss texts! So far, I've created accounts at three different libraries. You might want to create your own library. It's FREE. And fun!

 

My favorite site is goodreads: the site is easy to use and visually appealing. Notice my goodreads widget in the sidebar and atop this page. Visit my goodreads page to learn more about using goodreads with your students.
